You can get started on your dream with zero money. Bold claim? Maybe, but also a reasonable one.
I know that there are several challenges that could stand in the way of a person who has a dream. And I also know that money is one of these hindrances. What do you want to do: a business, some vocation, a ministry, a degree or certification, or some other personal project? You can start without money. If you face the Zero Money challenge, let’s discuss how you can move forward.
I’ll start with a question:
What is the exact amount of money that you need to get started?
I ask this question because I know that many people haven’t started to do what they would really like to do because they believe they don’t have the money to do it. Yet many of these people have not even done a diligent research on just how much it would cost them to go after their dreams.
It’s not okay for you to look into your bank account and decide that you don’t have the money when you do not even know what it would cost to prosecute the vision. Money comes into your hands for a reason.
Imagine this. You meet a very wealthy and influential person and you start chatting. You describe your idea or vision to this person, and they become interested. So interested, that they bring out their cheque-book and ask you how much it would take to get started. Imagine that you start mumbling something about needing to find out. Do you think this person would think you are serious about your vision?
Seeking more information about an idea is a very valid step of pursuing that idea. It shows that you’re serious about it. When you know just how much you need, you will become very creative about getting the money. In fact, ideas of how to take forward steps without money will flow to you. You will easily spot or identify opportunities that could bring you the capital you need. You will know how to plan your expenses or do something else to create some additional income. You will even know how much to ask for in prayer.
My challenge to you is this: Before you conclude that you cannot afford to do what you want to do, do a diligent research on what it would cost you and how creative you can become with each step of the process. Researching an idea won’t cost you so much. You may just need to go online and talk to a few people. You can handle that. When you take this step, you will become more empowered to take the next possible steps.
You can be ALL that you were created to be.
