An Inner Compass to Finding Your Career Path

An Inner Compass to Finding Your Career Path

As a Coach, this is one of my most favourite things to do in the entire world- helping people to find their path, and as a woman, I can definitely relate to female concerns. Women are beautiful and truly special.

Truly, there are different ways by which a woman could find a career or work path. We could look at the woman’s temperament and personality or her talents, skills and experiences, but today, we’ll take it from the ‘Heart’ perspective. This is because this perspective usually includes many of all these other perspectives.

The ‘Heart’ Perspective is also very important because a woman is a nurturer by nature. She will dedicate and devote herself to the things that matter to her the most.

As a woman, what is dear to your heart? When you think about making a difference in the world around you, what do you see yourself doing and how do you see yourself doing it? Is there a problem that you would like to solve? Is there a good situation that you would like to improve? What are you passionate about doing? Where would you like to make a difference?

When you’re passionate about something, you’re also usually talented and able to do something about it. You’ll realise that your ‘hand’ will usually go with your heart. Your natural talents and acquired skills will find a link to what you really want to do.

You can make a difference either as an individual or as part of a group or sector in the economy. You can do it by starting your own platform or business, or joining a platform or business that has already been set up and established. You can also do it as a volunteer.

As a woman, listening to your heart is important. The heart of a woman was created to easily spot a need and have a desire to meet it. You can build a career around a major or minor aspect of that need. Generally, women find it possible to wrap different areas of their lives together, and you can make your career about something that you feel passionate about.

So, what do you care about?
